Organisers say visitors should feel safe as Stockholm Pride kicks off

Stockholm Pride officially starts today in the Swedish capital but the suspected terror attack on Berlin's Christopher Street Day has once again put security in focus.

But Måns Axelsson, this year's festival manager at Stockholm Pride says that they along with their volunteers feel safe and hope that visitors will feel the same.

Ola Österling is a superintendent and spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm area: "We have drones, we have a lot of cameras, we have mounted police officers and we have civilian police officers, and we have uniformed police that will work the whole week and especially on Saturday during the Pride Parade", he told Radio Sweden. ...
