Sweden's duty to inform law comes into effect — critics warn of 'informant society'

Today a new law comes into force that obligates six Swedish authorities to share information with the police about foreign nationals, if there is reason to believe they are in Sweden without a permit.
Critics of the law refer to it as "angiverilagen", which can be translated as "the snitch law".
Migration Minister Johan Forssell of the Moderate Party says those who've been told they need to leave Sweden should leave, and that following Swedish law isn't voluntary. ...
