Senegal's ousted PM Sonko re-elected head of his political party

Ousmane Sonko, who was sacked as Senegal's prime minister after a falling-out with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, was re-elected Saturday as head of his Pan-African Pastef party.

Sonko was also elected president of the country's National Assembly shortly after his dismissal as prime minister.
