Kanlaon Volcano emits ash on Thursday – Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines — Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island was seen emitting ash on Thursday, state seismologists said.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the ash emission began at around 6 a.m. as captured by the camera of Kanlaon Volcano Observatory in Canlaon City.
