Rain triggers landslides, disrupts traffic on several highways

KATHMANDU: Continuous rainfall has disrupted traffic on several highways across the country due to landslides, rockfalls, and mudslides.

According to Nepal Police, the Kanti Lokpath in Makawanpur has resumed two-way traffic after authorities cleared a landslide that had blocked the road since Wednesday evening.

The landslide occurred at Ghattepakha in Bakaiya Rural Municipality-11.
