ILOILO CITY, Philippines — Flooding triggered by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat) and the lingering effects of Typhoon Inday (international name: Bavi) inundated 35 barangays in Iloilo City, forcing more than 1,300 residents to flee their homes, according to the Iloilo City Emergency Operations Center (ICEOC).
