Pont Neuf 'Cavern' installation over the Seine finally opens after damage

Visitors are finally stepping into darkness at the Pont Neuf, where French artist JR has transformed Paris’s oldest bridge into a towering artificial cavern.

The installation was originally set to open to the public on June 6, but strong winds tore parts of the inflatable structure a few days before its début.
