Biggs wins Republican primary, will face Hobbs in Arizona governor race

Rep.

Andy Biggs (R-AZ) defeated Rep.

David Schweikert (R-AZ) in the Republican primary and will face incumbent Gov.

Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) in Arizona’s November gubernatorial election.

With 39% of the vote counted as of Tuesday evening, Biggs took 69.6% of the vote compared to Schweikert’s 17.2% of the vote, according to the Associated Press.
