Louie Wong appointed GCS director for one-year term

Chief Executive Sam Hou Fai has appointed Louie Wong Lok I as director of the Government Information Bureau (GCS) for a one-year fixed term, effective July 11, according to an order published yesterday in the Official Gazette. Wong joined the GCS in 1996 and has served as deputy director since 2014. He had been acting director since July last year, following the end of Inês Chan Lou’s term.
