Weak ‘habagat’ to bring isolated rains over parts of PH

MANILA, Philippines – Generally fair weather will continue to prevail across the country, with isolated rain showers expected in some areas due to the “weak” southwest monsoon or habagat, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Monday. In its 5 a.m. advisory, the weather bureau said habagat will affect Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Lanao del Norte.
