PLA Navy vessels Nanning, Hengyang arrive in HK

Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy ships Nanning and Hengyang entered the waters of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Thursday morning.

Both vessels will be open to public visits at the PLA Hong Kong Garrison's naval base on Stonecutters Island over the coming five days.

The Ministry of National Defense had said the visit will enable compatriots in Hong Kong and Macao to gain a more direct and in-depth understanding of the development of national defence and military construction in the new era. (Xinhua/ RTHK)
