Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Jitendra Singh met Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi during the Congress protest outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, telling him the government is ready to hold talks.

Rahul Gandhi, however, continued the protest, with Congress demanding accountability over the alleged police action on students protesting the NEET paper leak issue.
