Motorcyclist dead following crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a bus on New Clear Water Bay Road on Saturday.

Police received reports at about 4pm, stating that a bus collided with a motorcycle near Shun Lee Disciplined Services Quarters.

The motorcyclist was taken to United Christian Hospital in an unconscious state and was later pronounced dead.

Officers are investigating the incident.

In a statement, KMB said bus 290A bound for Choi Ming Court in Tseung Kwan O was struck from behind by a motorcycle, as it was preparing to depart from the bus stop at Kei Shun Special School.

No one on the bus was injured, and KMB said they will cooperate with the police investigation.
