Democrats top Republicans by 8 points ahead of midterms: Poll

Democrats are leading Republicans by 8 points with the midterms a little over three months away, according to a new poll.

In the CNN poll, 47 percent of registered voter respondents said they would or were considering casting their ballot for a Democrat if congressional elections happened that day.
