In the polls that witnessed cross-voting, Nathwani polled 28 votes, comfortably bypassing Congress's Pranav, who bagged 20 votes.

The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Baidyanath Ram was elected to the other seat.
