Statement by the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni

I express my full solidarity with the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, who has been the target of a very serious and unacceptable act of intimidation. 

The reference to Italy’s darkest years of terrorism and the Brigate Rosse (‘Red Brigades’) must be condemned unambiguously and in the strongest possible terms.

Minister Nordio has my personal support and that of the entire Government.
