Collapsed hoarding hits woman in Tsim Sha Tsui

Police said on Friday a 33-year-old woman was hospitalised after being hit by a wooden hoarding on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Online footage showed the hoarding appeared to have been put up as part of renovations at a shop.

The incident occurred at around 12.30pm, when the hoarding, measuring five by three metres, reportedly toppled over as the woman was passing by the shop. ​

Officers said the victim suffered injuries to her left foot and was conscious as she was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
