Man gets suspended sentence for throwing puppy from 15th floor because 'owner was late'

A man in his 20s received a suspended prison sentence for killing an acquaintance’s puppy by throwing it from the 15th floor of an apartment building after the dog’s owner was late for an appointment.

According to the Cheongju District Court on Monday it has sentenced the man to eight months in prison, suspended for two years, on charges of violating the Animal Protection Act.
