Exports up 86% in first 10 days of June, set new record high

South Korea's exports jumped 86 percent from a year earlier in the first 10 days of June, data showed Thursday, setting a new high following the robust shipments of semiconductors.

Outbound shipments reached $28.6 billion in the June 1-10 period, compared with $15.4 billion tallied in the same period last year, according to the data from the Korea Customs Service.
