Labor group asks gov’t to help stop sugar farm infestation

BACOLOD CITY—The General Alliance of Workers Associations (GAWA) on Thursday called for immediate and direct government intervention to halt a Red-Striped Soft-Scale  Insect (RSSI) infestation before it completely paralyzes the country’s sugar industry.
