Adani weighs Accor, ITC for Jaypee assets

New Delhi: Adani Group is in talks with Europe's largest hospitality group, Accor, to manage some of the hotel assets it acquired as part of its takeover of Jaiprakash Associates Ltd (JAL), people familiar with the matter told ET.While the talks are on for properties in Delhi and Agra, Adani is separately in discussions with ITC Hotels to manage Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort in Greater Noida, the people said.Also read: Jaypee deal to help Dalmia Bharat have pan-India presence: MD Puneet Dalmia"Accor could also make some investments towards refurbishments and upgrading these properties," one of them said.The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) had approved Adani Enterprises' ₹ 14,535-crore resolution plan to acquire JAL, the flagship company of debt-ridden Jaypee Group.
