Report: US army death toll abruptly lowered on Pentagon Website

The Pentagon has lowered the number of US troops killed from 18 on Wednesday to 14 on Thursday, The New York Times reported.

According to the report citing three military officials, one reason behind the sudden change was that the Donald Trump administration decided to remove four troops killed over the past weekend because their deaths happened after the US president declared a ceasefire with Iran in April. 

Meanwhile,  acting press secretary for the Pentagon, Joel Valdez, said that change was due to "temporary data disruptions"on the website. ...
