KOSPI Surges to Fresh High above 8,780 on Monday

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) surged to another record high on Monday, closing above the eight-thousand-780 mark for the first time. 

The KOSPI jumped 312-point-23 points, or three-point-68 percent, to close at a new high of eight-thousand-788-point-38.
