We present a discrete model for a weakly self-avoiding polymer of intrinsic length $J$ governed by a discrete heat equation perturbed by Gaussian noise.
By introducing a renormalized penalizing factor, we establish sharp bounds on the polymer's root mean squared radius of gyration $R(T,J)$ scales linearly with $J$, up to logarithmic corrections and explicit powers of the self-repellence parameter $\beta$.
This is consistent with the weak-interaction results for equilibrium polymers, highlighting both the distinct nature of the discrete model and its analytical tractability for studying polymer behavior in lattice-like environments.
