NSMQ 2026: Edinaman SHS storms to nationals with highest opening score in Central region qualifiers

Edinaman Senior High School has qualified for the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) national championship after recording the highest score on the opening day of the Central Regional Qualifiers.

The Edina-based school delivered a commanding performance in Contest Two, amassing 71 points to secure an emphatic victory over Mando SHS, Nyankumase SHS and Eguafo Abrem SHS.

Edinaman controlled the contest from the opening round, steadily increasing its lead with strong performances in the Problem of the Day, True or False and Speed Race segments before sealing victory with a composed display in the riddle round. ...
