This report focuses on refugees from Ukraine present in the territory of Belarus, and is based on 301 valid surveys conducted between December 2025 and February 2026.
This report complements earlier analytical work, namely the 2023 Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Belarus report on the needs, intentions, and protection challenges of refugees from Ukraine. Many of the same indicators and survey questions were used in data collection throughout both rounds, allowing for comparability between 2023 and 2026 report findings.
Sixty-one per cent of respondents have children, and 47 per cent have at least one household member with a serious health condition or specific need.
Financial support was the primary need reported by respondents (87%), followed by a need for employment support (27%), and medicine (22%). More than one quarter of respondents identified food products as a priority need (26%), and 15 per cent indicated a need for hygiene and sanitary supplies. ...
