Five sentenced after woman loses both legs in grenade attack

In April 2025, a hand grenade was thrown through the window of a property in Tumba, south of Stockholm, where a woman and her child were sleeping.

The woman's injuries were so severe that both her legs had to be amputated, while her child was also left seriously injured.

The family wasn't the intended target of the attack, according to the investigation. Now five people have been sentenced over their involvement in the crime. ...
