삼성전자가 인도 신도시에 조성되는 최고급 주거단지에서 냉난방공조(HVAC) 설비를 대규모로 수주했다.
22일 삼성전자는 인도 부동산 개발업체 센트럴파크가 인도 구루그람 지역에 짓는 고급 주거단지 ‘디 오차드(The Orchard)’에 시스템 에어컨 등 공조 기기 3000여 대를 공급한다고 밝혔다(사진).
구루그람은 다국적 정보기술(IT) 기업과 스타트업이 밀집해 ‘인도의 판교’라 할 수 있는 곳으로 인도 수도 뉴델리의 핵심 위성도시다.
고소득층이 다수 거주하고 여름철 최고 기온이 45도를 웃돌아 고성능·고효율 냉방 설비 수요가 많은 곳이다.
이번 프로젝트에서는 단일 실외기로 최대 64대의 실내기를 연결할 수 있는 대형 시스템 에어컨 실외기(DVM S2)와 가정용 시스템 에어컨인 ‘무풍 1웨이(Way) 천장형 카세트’를 결합한 고효율 제품 등을 대거 공급한다.
