Man caught attempting to smuggle 40 old mobile phones into the mainland

A mainland resident has been detained by the Gongbei Customs authority while trying to reenter the mainland from Macau with 40 old mobile phones hidden on various parts of his body. According to the report, the man appeared nervous and exhibited erratic behavior when approached by Customs officers while passing through the “Green Channel” (Nothing to Declare), prompting them to conduct a further inspection. Upon interception and questioning, officers discovered 40 old mobile phones concealed in plastic film on his chest, abdomen, and legs.
