Cargo vessel spills oil as it ran around in Ilocos Norte

MANILA, Philippines — A cargo vessel that ran aground in the vicinity waters off Barangay La Virgen Milagrosa, Badoc, in Ilocos Norte has spilled oil, said the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Tuesday.

According to the PCG in a statement, authorities during an inspection confirmed the presence of oil leakage from the ship.
