Lee awards demonstrators who protested Yoon's martial law on Constitution Day

President Lee Jae Myung on Friday awarded demonstrators who took to the streets to protest former President Yoon Suk Yeol's imposition of martial law in December 2024 for their dedication to upholding the spirit of democracy.

Four individuals were awarded at the event held on South Korea's Constitution Day at Cheong Wa Dae, according to Cheong Wa Dae's deputy spokesperson Ahn Gwi-ryeong.
