Camotes man stabs, kills mother, gets arrested by police

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu- A mother died after being stabbed several times by her own son in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Sonog in San Francisco town in Camotes Island, on Tuesday, July 21. Authorities identified the woman as alias Melody, 51, a Barangay Utility Worker who lived in that community. She was attacked around 10:45 a.m. Police also identified the suspect as alias Kyle, 29, the victim’s son.
