What to know about DCA flights and July 4th ground stops

Festivities marking America’s 250th anniversary will force Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) to close temporarily to airline traffic on Saturday afternoon.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) said that it will restrict all inbound and outbound flights starting at noon on Independence Day.
