A low-pressure system is expected to develop and move into the central and northern South China Sea later this week, with the possibility of strengthening into a tropical cyclone, the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau said. However, authorities warned that the system’s development remains uncertain. Macau will continue to experience occasional thunderstorms over the next two days, with rain expected to ease from Tuesday evening. Hot weather is forecast for Wednesday, while easterly winds may strengthen from Saturday.
