P18.4M ‘smuggled’ cigarettes seized in Zamboanga del Sur

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur — Authorities intercepted an estimated P18.4 million worth of alleged smuggled cigarettes and arrested two suspects in Zamboanga del Sur early Tuesday morning.

The seizure and arrests happened during a maritime law enforcement operation in the municipal waters of Barangay Sugod, Tukuran town.
