July the worst month: 28,717 dengue cases reported

The dengue outbreak has so far claimed 61 lives this year, with the total number of reported cases rising to 84,091 by midnight on July 29, according to the National Dengue Control Unit (NDCU).July has emerged as the worst month of the year, recording 28,717 new dengue infections, followed by June with 21,533 cases.
