Trump continues to threaten Iran

US President Donald Trump told Fox News earlier this morning that the United States and Iran have had "very good" talks.

However, he warned that the US would destroy bridges and power plants in Iran if Tehran did not reach a deal with Washington.

"If they don't make a deal, then I'm going to come back and finish the job," Trump told Fox.

"But it will take them a very long time to rebuild. It will now take them many years to restore everything," the 80-year-old added.

Trump also insisted that the United States has control over the Strait of Hormuz, which has been largely blocked by Iran since the start of the war.

"Only the ships we want to pass through, pass through," he said.

The clash between the US and Iran is expected to be one of the main topics during the meeting that Trump is currently holding at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. /Telegraph ...
