Oldest surviving vinery welcomes visitors after restoration of Huis Beaucarne in Ename

Huis Beaucarne in Ename (Oudenaarde - East Flanders) is once again open to the public.

It is said that grapes have been growing on the same vines in this historic vinery, a grape glasshouse since 1790.

The vinery has now undergone the largest restoration in the estate’s more than 275-year history that stretches back more than 275 years.

The entire operation cost nearly 1 million euros.
