BTS to skip Grammy consideration for 2027 amid new Asian Pop Category

K-pop supergroup BTS has decided not to submit its music for consideration at the 69th Grammy Awards, the group announced on Wednesday, July 29.  All seven members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — shared the same statement on their individual Instagram accounts, explaining their decision to skip this year’s Grammy submissions. “We have decided not to submit for Grammy consideration this year.
