Dems Kill Bill To Ban Sex Offenders From Public Office

Democratic Sacramento lawmakers, led by far-left senator Scott Wiener (D-CA), killed a bill that would have banned registered sex offenders from running for public office in California.

The legislation, AB 2753, would have expanded the list of felony convictions that disqualify people from running for elected office to include sexual assault and human trafficking.
