We study the long-time stability of global self-similar solutions to two energy supercritical nonlinear wave equations, namely, the cubic nonlinear wave equation in $6$ dimensions and the corotational wave maps equation in $4$ dimensions.
We prove the stability of self-similar solutions under perturbations that are small in the critical Sobolev spaces.
The proof is based on Strichartz estimates for wave equations with potentials in similarity variables.
