Hari Menon steps down as BigBasket CEO
Tata-owned BigBasket cofounder Hari Menon has stepped down as chief executive of the e-grocery firm, the company announced on Tuesday.
Amazon veteran Amit Nanda, director of selling partner services at the ecommerce major, will take over as CEO.ET had first reported in September 2025 that Menon’s tenure was nearing completion following Tata’s acquisition of the Bengaluru-based company in 2021, as he began charting succession plans.“Having built BigBasket from its inception to its current position as one of India’s most trusted consumer platforms, I am delighted to welcome Amit as CEO.
