Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy "unequivocally announces" that the Strait of Hormuz has become "highly perilous" and is now fully sealed off due to the "crimes of the US military", state broadcaster IRIB reported.
The Navy added that until Washington ceases its "acts of aggression", "not a single shipment of chemical fertilizer nor even a drop of oil or gas will be allowed to leave the region".
Earlier, Iran's state broadcaster quoted the IRGC as saying it had stopped four ships attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz and claimed that two oil tankers exploded after striking mines in the waterway. ...
