Man accused of torture under former Syrian regime seeks to live in Sweden

Swedish Radio's investigative programme Kaliber has discovered that a man accused of torture, rape and killing of prison inmates during the former Syrian regime is walking free in Damascus.

He's currently awaiting a decision from the Swedish Migration Board on a residency permit in Sweden.
