Over 7,600 private residential units under construction or in planning in Q2

More than 7,600 private residential units were under construction or in the design phase in the second quarter of 2026, according to the latest data released by the Land and Urban Construction Bureau (DSSCU). During the period, occupancy permits were issued for two private residential projects, adding only two units in total. Meanwhile, 39 projects are under construction or undergoing inspection, offering 1,784 units, while 63 projects in the design phase account for 5,862 units. In the hotel sector, one project with 131 rooms is under construction, while 11 projects in the design phase will supply 1,369 guest rooms.
