Social Democrats vow to scrap work permit salary rule

The Social Democrats say they will scrap the system with a set salary requirement for work permit holders if they get into power after the election this autumn.

The party's spokesperson on migration Ida Karkiainen tells Radio Sweden they want a system where salary requirements and possible exemptions are agreed on by the employers organisations and the trade unions, not by government.
