No tsunami threat after magnitude 6.6 quake hit area off Sarangani town

MANILA, Philippines — There is no tsunami threat in any area after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake hit off the shore of Sarangani municipality in Davao Occidental on Friday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
