Thousands of tourists forced to evacuate as fire rages in southwest France

Just under 12,000 people, most of them tourists, were evacuated on Thursday in southwest France as a wildfire ravaged a forest in Le Porge.

The fire started midday on Wednesday, and hundreds of firefighters have been deployed to the region.
