Police kill suspect accused of shooting woman in Northwest DC

At least one person is dead after a police-involved shooting Tuesday morning on Wisconsin Avenue in Northwest, Washington, D.C.

Police were responding to the scene where a man shot a woman, and then law enforcement officers shot the man.

He was taken to the hospital and later pronouced dead.

The woman’s status is unclear.
