Tour de France Stage 16 is an individual time trial from Évian-les-Bains to Thonon-les-Bains spanning 26.1 kilometers, the only time trial format of this year's race. Overnight anti-doping tests were conducted on multiple teams during the preceding rest day with judicial approval and team chief endorsement.
Remco Evenepoel won the individual time trial on Stage 16 of the Tour de France, 2 days after his victory at Plateau de Solaison.
The three-time world time trial champion finished 28 seconds ahead of Tadej Pogacar and 1'04'' clear of Mattias Skjelmose, between Évian and Thonon.
The Belgian remains second overall, 4'32'' behind the Slovenian in the yellow jersey. ...
